During his visit to the party’s centre, the governor held talks with Jamaat-e-Islami Deputy Emir Professor Ibrahim and other provincial leaders on addressing public concerns and improving economic opportunities for young people.
Kundi stressed that peace was essential for development and maintaining law and order remained the provincial government’s top priority.
He also called for Jamaat-e-Islami’s support in resolving issues related to the province’s net electricity profit, National Finance Commission (NFC) awards and other matters involving the federal government.
Highlighting agriculture’s role in the economy, the governor said developing agricultural land in southern districts could help meet the province’s needs and create employment.
He also emphasised promoting information technology to expand job opportunities for young people.
