KARACHI: Pakistan’s total cement sales reached 17.953 million tonnes from July to October 2026, it was reported on Wednesday.
Cement sales rose by 5.93 percent to 14.889 million tonnes over four months of the current fiscal year.
A 0.37% year-on-year increase was recorded in total cement sales in October. Cement sales in the local market rose by 1.17 percent in October, reaching 4.041 million tonnes.
In October, total cement sales comprising both local sales and exports stood at 4.81 million tonnes.
Cement exports in October fell by 3.67 percent to 768,754 tonnes.
During the first four months of the current fiscal year, cement exports declined by 9.51 percent to 3.064 million tonnes.
