Japanese firm Icom probes walkie-talkie explosions in Lebanon

Icom, a Japanese manufacturer of walkie-talkies, announced on Thursday that it is looking into reports of its two-way radio devices exploding in Lebanon, AFP reported.

In a statement, the company said, “Earlier today, global media reported that two-way radio devices featuring the Icom logo have exploded in Lebanon. We are investigating the details of this matter and will share updates on our website as they become available.”
