Bollywood’s powerhouse performer Alia Bhatt is all set to make her much-anticipated debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2025.
Representing global beauty brand L’Oréal Paris, Alia will grace the red carpet alongside longtime brand ambassador and fellow actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The Cannes Film Festival 2025, scheduled to take place from May 13 to May 24, will see Alia join an impressive lineup of global L’Oréal ambassadors, including Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Aja Naomi King, Andie MacDowell, Simone Ashley, Elle Fanning, Bebe Vio, and Yseult.
Speaking about her Cannes debut, Alia expressed her excitement, stating, “There’s something absolutely special about firsts—and I’m so excited to make my Festival de Cannes debut this year, an iconic celebration of cinema and self-expression.” It is such an honour to represent L’Oréal Paris at the Festival with this year’s theme, ‘Lights, Beauty and Action’.”
Alia also reflected on her interpretation of beauty, adding, “To me, beauty is about celebrating individuality, confidence and self-worth. It’s limitless, it’s unique. I’m proud to stand with a brand that celebrates every woman’s journey and empowers them to shine in their own light.”
Looking ahead, the 32-year-old actress has an exciting year lined up. She will next be seen in Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail, which is slated for release on December 25, 2025. Alia will also star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited project Love and War, alongside her husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
