Modi govt faces intense criticism over intelligence agencies’ failure

The wave of criticism against the Modi government over the failure of intelligence agencies in the Pahalgam incident continues to grow, according to sources. Indian citizens are raising serious questions about the security lapses.

“How did the attackers reach the scene despite heavy security presence?” questioned an Indian woman. “Their escape after committing the act raises serious questions about the credibility of the security system,” she added.

Other critical questions from the Indian public include: “Why weren’t effective measures taken despite existing security concerns?” and “How did the terrorists manage to escape after killing people?”

One citizen directly challenged authorities: “If intelligence was available beforehand, why weren’t practical steps taken to prevent the incident?”

Defense analysts suggest that evidence clearly indicates the Pahalgam incident represents a failure of Indian intelligence agencies. “Instead of making baseless allegations against Pakistan, India should answer the questions raised by its own citizens,” the analysts stated.

They further noted that the voices emerging from within India clearly demonstrate that the Pahalgam incident represents a significant failure of the Modi government’s security apparatus.
