Pakistani digital creator Rajab Butt, who boasts a massive following of 6.75 million YouTube subscribers, is making headlines again, for the way he treated his wife, Emaan Rajab, in a recent video.
While fans initially praised the newly uploaded family dinner vlog for its warmth and relatability, a specific moment has left many viewers deeply disappointed. In the viral clip, Rajab is seen offering food to his sister Ghazal but visibly ignoring Emaan, sparking criticism over his seemingly cold attitude toward his wife.
Social media was quick to respond. Thousands of comments poured in expressing sympathy for Emaan and disappointment in Rajab.
- “My heart is crying for Emaan. I’ve started hating Rajab Butt,” one emotional fan wrote.
- “He might be a good son, brother, and friend — but clearly not a good husband,” added another.
- “Emaan is educated, humble, and respectful. Watching her being mistreated is heartbreaking,” commented a follower.
Many pointed out that while respecting parents and siblings is crucial, Islam and basic decency also require equal respect and love for one’s spouse. “He always prioritizes others over his wife. It’s painful to watch her being ignored repeatedly,” a viewer noted.
Another praised Emaan’s patience, writing, “Hats off to you, Emaan. You are bearing a lot.”
The backlash is growing, with calls for Rajab to reflect on his behaviour and acknowledge how his actions, especially in public vlogs, affect both Emaan and his audience.
