After five days of decline, the price of gold in Pakistan and globally showed an upward trend on Saturday.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola saw an increase of Rs1,465 on Saturday to reach Rs358,465. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold picked up by Rs1,256, taking it to Rs307,325.
The global gold market also witnessed minor changes, with the price of gold per ounce rising by $13 to reach $3,369.
The silver prices in Pakistan, however, witnessed a decline, with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver falling by Rs11 to reach Rs3,785, and the price for 10 grams of silver declining to Rs3,245.
