As part of preparations for the upcoming home series against South Africa, the training camp of Pakistan’s red-ball team will get underway under the supervision of former all-rounder Azhar Mehmood in Lahore on September 8, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Around 10 to 12 players, who are presently available, will attend the training sessions, while the remaining ones are busy playing in the Hanif Muhammad Trophy and have some other engagements.
Pakistan is to play a two-match test series against the Proteas next month.
The first test will be played from October 12 to October 16, while the second one from October 20 to October 24.
The visitors will also play three one-day matches and three T20s against Pakistan.
The venues for the matches will be decided in a few days from now.
