PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has congratulated the Sikh community around the world, including Pakistan, on the birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
In a message on the birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, Bilawal said Baba Guru Nanak shared message of peace, equality, love and compassion to his followers as well as the world.
PPP chairman said, “Sikh community has made valuable contributions to the cultural and national life in the country.”:
Bilawal said 1973 Constitution of Pakistan guaranteed religious freedom to all citizens.
He said PPP was committed to building a progressive and inclusive Pakistan in line with the vision of the Leader of the People and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
Bilawla said in Pakistan every citizen, irrespective of religion or belief, lives with dignity, security and respect.
