Punjab Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Dr Usman Anwar on Monday transferred five senior police officers with immediate effect and until further orders, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A notification in this regard stated that District Police Officer (DPO) Layyah Ali Waseem has been transferred and posted as DPO Dera Ghazi Khan.
District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ghazi Khan Capt ® Tariq Walayat is transferred and posted as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Research and Analysis Counter Terrorism Department, Punjab.
Assistant Inspector-General Welfare Abdul Rahim Sheerazi is transferred and posted as DPO Mandi Bahauddin.
DPO Mandi Bahauddin Waseem Riaz is transferred and posted as AIG Information Technology CPO Mandi Bahauddin.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Investigation Dera Ghazi Khan Shamsuddin was assigned the additional charge of DPO Layyah.
