Shehnaaz Gill’s date offer sparks internet frenzy

Shehnaz Gill set social media ablaze after sharing a new picture on Instagram with a flirty, light-hearted caption.

Posting a chic, stylish photo, the Honsla Rakh star wrote: “Who’s taking me out today? Let’s go for a date ….”

The playful offer sparked excitement among fans, who flooded the comments section with humorous replies, light-hearted proposals and heart emojis.

Many admirers volunteered to be her date, while others praised her glowing look and lively personality.

Gill often delights her fans with such candid and engaging posts.

However, the update comes after she dismissed speculation suggesting she shares a blood relation with Indian cricketer Shubman Gill.

The rumours surfaced because both celebrities hail from Punjab’s city of Amritsar and enjoy immense popularity in their fields.

Shubman Gill, however, has only one elder sister, Shahneel Gill, who frequently appears alongside him on social media.

Addressing the chatter with humour, Shehnaaz said they might simply be “distant relatives from the same Amritsar side,” while calling Shubman a “lovely person” and “a good player.”

Shehnaaz rose to fame after appearing on Bigg Boss 13, and later featured in several hit music videos before making her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

She has been in the limelight recently following the launch of her Punjabi film Ikk Guddi.

Taking to Instagram, Shehnaaz also shared an exciting story that read: “Canada is showing so much love. I’m coming to surprise you. Which theatre are you watching the film in?”

She mentioned several venues where fans might catch a glimpse of her, including Strawberry Hills, Mission, Riverport, Abbotsford and Landmark Surrey.

Ikk Guddi, her latest film, has been receiving a warm response from audiences, especially from the Indian diaspora in Canada. Earlier, Shehnaaz surprised fans with her theatre-visit plans, adding to the film’s growing buzz.

Punjabi superstar Gippy Grewal also praised the film and Shehnaaz’s performance, urging fans to fill cinemas and support Punjabi cinema.

In a video clip shared by Shehnaaz, the Carry On Jatta star passionately encouraged fans to experience the movie on the big screen.

“Everyone’s loving Ikk Guddi! It’s playing near your theatres. So please, please go watch and feel the magic,” Shehnaaz captioned, expressing her gratitude to fans worldwide.
