Mehmood Khan Achakzai and Raja Nasir Abbas has expressed reservations over newly-established PTI political committee on Monday.
Sources said Mahmood Khan Achakzai refused to attend the meeting of PTI political committee while Raja Nasir Abbas joined the link to attend the meeting after requests.
“We are not PTI people and this is the internal affairs committee of PTI. We are not supposed to be involved in it”, Mahmood Khan Achakzai told PTI ahead of the meeting of the maiden committee.
Achakzai told PTI that if it wants to consult them, an apex committee should be formed which includes the leadership of Tehreek-e-Tahafuzz-e-Ain which is aimed at the protection of the constitution.
He said that PTI leadership should discuss the decisions of the apex committee in the political committee and implement them.
Salman Akram will also meet Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Nasir Abbas to form the Apex Committee. The meeting will discuss the TORs and inclusion of members of the Apex Committee.
