Monthly 5.80 per cent and yearly 23.60 per cent increase was recorded in banking deposits in December 2025, it was reported on Thursday.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), banking deposits in December upped by Rs2051 billion, while they increased by Rs7148 billion in one year.
The deposits in December, 2025 were recorded at Rs37,431 billion, while these were Rs30,283 billion in December 2024, the SBP said, adding that in November 2025, the deposits stood at Rs35,380 billion.
