The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced a star-studded commentary panel for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
The tournament will take place from February 7 to March 8 and will be jointly hosted by ndia and Sri Lanka. The ICC has selected some of the most respected voices in world cricket to provide expert coverage throughout the event.
The commentary team includes a strong mix of experienced broadcasters, former international captains, and past T20 World Cup champions. This combination is expected to bring deep insight, excitement, and balanced analysis to viewers across the globe.
Leading the panel are famous commentators Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith, Ramiz Raja, and Ian Bishop. These well-known voices will form the backbone of the tournament’s broadcast. They are widely respected for their clear analysis, strong opinions, and long experience in international cricket.
Several former T20 World Cup winners have also been added to the panel. These include Aaron Finch, Dinesh Karthik, Kumar Sangakkara, Samuel Badree, Robin Uthappa, and Carlos Brathwaite. Their presence will add first-hand tournament experience and modern tactical knowledge to the coverage. Fans will benefit from their understanding of pressure situations and match-winning moments.
A special highlight of the panel is South Africa’s current captain Temba Bavuma. He will make a guest appearance during the tournament. Bavuma recently led South Africa to victory in the ICC World Test Championship, making his inclusion even more significant. Former Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews, who led his country to the 2014 T20 World Cup title, will also be part of the expert group.

Additional presenters and analysts such as Danny Morrison, Alan Wilkins, Ian Ward, Mark Howard, Nick Knight, Athar Ali Khan, Kass Naidoo, Bazid Khan, Raunak Kapoor, Niall O’Brien, Preston Mommsen, Andrew Leonard, Russel Arnold, and Roshan Abeysinghe will further strengthen the broadcast team.
