Pakistani actors Gohar Rasheed and Kubra Khan have shared candid insights into their married life, reflecting on how relationships evolve after tying the knot.
The couple, who got married in February 2025, held their Nikah ceremony in Makkah, in an intimate gathering attended by close family members and friends. Their wedding became a major talking point on social media and inspired a trend of celebrity Nikah ceremonies in the holy cities.
Appearing together on Green Entertainment’s Ramzan transmission Mehfil-e-Ramzan, hosted by Rabia Anam and Danish Taimoor, the couple spoke openly about life after marriage and the changes they experienced.
Gohar Rasheed admitted that while he and Kubra were close friends before marriage, he believes people naturally change afterward. He explained that marriage reveals new dimensions of a partner’s personality, adding that discovering those differences is part of the beauty of Nikah. According to him, although they remain the same individuals, daily life together brings new understandings and adjustments.
Kubra Khan responded with humor, sharing that they initially had lighthearted disagreements over the idea of change. She said Gohar once told her she had become a “typical wife,” to which she replied that it was only natural because she is his wife.
Speaking about their decision to marry in Makkah, Kubra said it had always been a shared wish. She revealed that from the beginning of their relationship, she expressed her desire to have her Nikah in the holy city, and Gohar felt the same way. The presence of close friends during the ceremony, she added, made the occasion even more meaningful.
