PESHAWAR: The opposition leader in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr Ibadullah Khan Tuesday urged the Chief Minister to prioritize public service over political confrontation, stressing that the province’s resources should be spent on development, education, health, and law and order.
Dr Ibadullah Khan said the Chief Minister’s office is meant for governance and public welfare, not personal or party disputes.
He warned that political battles under the banner of groups like the “Imran Rahai Force” do not serve the interests of the people.
He called on the government to ensure responsible use of public resources and said real change comes through practical action rather than slogans or speeches.
Dr Khan emphasized the need to strengthen democratic practices and resolve differences without turning them into conflict.
The opposition leader urged the provincial leadership to maintain stability, focus on governance, and address the pressing needs of the public rather than engaging in political feuds.
