1,121 Pakistanis return home from Iran during last 10 days

The return of Pakistanis stranded in the war-torn Iran continued on the 10th consecutive day on Wednesday.

Deputy Commissioner Gwadar Naqeebullah Kakar said that in all 111 Pakistanis, including 15 students, returned home via Gabd-Rimdan border crossing.

“Besides students, there were 48 Pakistani businessmen and eight seamen,” he said, adding that a total of 1,121 Pakistanis, including 330 students, had returned home during the last 10 days.

Ever since the start of the US-Israeli aggression against Iran, thousands of Pakistanis, who had been left stuck in the Gulf country, have returned home via different routes.

Soon after the start of the war, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while chairing a meeting, had directed that the safe return of all Pakistanis stranded in Iran should be ensured.
