Iran strikes Israel; drone shot down near Isfahan

Iran fired missiles toward central Israel, escalating tensions in the region. The attack caused multiple injuries and damage in several areas, according to media reports.

Missile debris fell in different locations after interceptions. Several vehicles were damaged when fragments hit the ground. Fires also broke out at some sites, adding to the chaos.

Emergency services said missile wreckage landed near a town close to Tel Aviv. At least four people were injured in that incident. Rescue teams responded quickly and shifted the wounded for treatment.

Iranian military officials claimed their air defence systems also made a significant interception. They said an MQ-9 Reaper drone was shot down near Isfahan. The drone is known for surveillance and strike missions and is valued at around 30 million dollars.

Iran further claimed that it has shot down a total of 146 drones so far. These claims could not be independently verified.

Israeli media reported a higher number of casualties from the missile attack. At least 11 people were said to be injured across central Israel.

Reports stated that six people were wounded in the Gush Dan area. Three others were injured in Bnei Brak. The condition of the injured has not been fully disclosed.
