The Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) vessel ‘Bolan’ has arrived at Port Qasim carrying a large consignment of petrol to strengthen national fuel reserves, it was reported on Tuesday.
According to details, the ship transported 57,300 metric tons of petrol from Sohar Port in Oman to Karachi.
Port authorities confirmed that a total of 10 vessels, including two container ships and five bulk carriers, arrived at Port Qasim on the same day, reflecting steady maritime traffic activity at the facility.
Port Qasim Officials added that the offloading of petrol will begin on Tuesday morning once the vessel is berthed.
They further stated that the arrival of the shipment is expected to help stabilize the country’s petrol supply and support existing fuel stock levels.
