Karachi Kings edged past Quetta Gladiators with ease in a Pakistan Super League (PSL) clash at Qaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on Saturday.
Kings’ captain David Warner led from the front with a fluent 89, while Reeza Hendricks anchored the chase with an unbeaten 87, as Karachi romped home with ease, losing just one wicket.
Quetta Gladiators had earlier posted a competitive total of 195 for six after opting to bat first.
Rilee Rossouw was the standout performer, smashing 90 off just 40 deliveries, while Saud Shakeel contributed a steady 57 and Chandimal added 30 runs.

Rossouw’s knock also marked a personal milestone, taking his tally beyond 2,600 runs in the PSL and past 2,000 runs in T20 cricket.
For Karachi, Hasan Ali, Abbas Afridi, and Rizwanullah picked up two wickets each to restrict Quetta below the 200 mark.

In reply, Karachi’s top order dominated from the outset, with Warner and Reeza stitching together a match-winning partnership that left Quetta with little chance of a comeback.
The only breakthrough for the Gladiators came through Jahandad Khan, who claimed the lone wicket of the innings.
Earlier, the Kings won the toss and put the Gladiators into bat.
