Zara Noor Abbas highlights fitness, therapy for mental wellbeing

Actor Zara Noor Abbas has once again spoken openly about mental health, sharing her personal experiences and encouraging people to focus on physical activity and emotional awareness for overall well-being.

In a recent Instagram post, the actor shared a video from the gym, where she discussed how regular movement and exercise have helped her feel more positive and emotionally balanced. She paired the post with a reflective question, asking followers whether they prefer “familiarity or evolution”.

Speaking about her mental health journey, Abbas said she once struggled to understand and validate her own emotions. She added that therapy played an important role in helping her process those feelings and gain clarity.

She explained that physical activity, especially dedicated workouts at the gym, gives her a sense of happiness and emotional relief. However, she clarified that “movement” for her does not simply mean routine daily tasks like cooking or driving, but intentional physical activity outside daily obligations.

Zara Noor Abbas also shared her perspective on depression, saying it is not something one completely overcomes but rather learns to understand and manage over time. She emphasized the importance of identifying personal triggers and finding healthy ways to cope with anxiety.

The actor suggested several coping methods, including exercise, watching meaningful content, and spending time with supportive friends. She said even small positive impacts, such as helping one person through her message, make her efforts worthwhile.
