Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Mahmood Khan Achakzai on Tuesday visited the residence of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) President Maulana Fazlur Rehman, where the two leaders held a meeting to discuss the country’s political, economic and regional situation.
During the meeting, both leaders expressed concern over rising inflation and the continuous increase in petroleum prices, which they said were adding to the difficulties faced by the public. They discussed the deteriorating law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and reviewed other important national issues.
The two leaders exchanged views on adopting a common stance in the prevailing political and economic situation of the country. They agreed on the need to work together for the resolution of public problems and deliberated on the future course of action.
