After registering online taxi drivers, the Lahore police have started collecting data of food delivery boys, it was reported on Monday.
The police are considering declaring the provision of a character certificate mandatory for the delivery boys. Police already declared that holding a character certificate is mandatory for online taxi drivers.
Every week, 6,000 people approached different taxi companies for a driver post. Deputy Inspector-General (DIG) Faisal Kamran said that meetings are being held for the appointment as a delivery boy.
Police officials said that holding a character certificate will be declared mandatory for food delivery riders.
