At least five youth died and three more injured when a loader rickshaw plunged into a ravine after its brakes failed in Haveli Kahuta area of Azad Kashmir on Friday.
The accident occurred in Khurshidabad Tehsil of Haveli Kahuta.
Two of the deceased were identified as Idrees, son of Inayat, resident of Jokan, and Bilal, son of Iftikhar, resident of Jokan Gangi Gali.
All the dead and injured persons were shifted to a nearby hospital. Later, the dead bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) in Haveli Kahuta.
As soon as the news of the tragic accident spread, a wave of sorrow and grief gripped the entire area.
