Veteran Pakistani actress Fazila Qazi has sparked a heated debate on social media after sharing a strongly worded video message aimed at former television host and journalist Iqrar Ul Hassan. The actress openly criticized what she described as Iqrar’s obsession, questioning his tone, remarks, and repeated while urging people to acknowledge both a person’s achievements and shortcomings fairly.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Fazila expressed disappointment and admitted that she had misjudged Iqrar’s personality: “Mujh sy bari galti hoi Iqrar ko pehchanany mein, us insaan ki zubaan mein sun sun ky pareshan ho gai hu aap itna obsessed hain kisi ek shaks sy, aap Imran Khan saab sy itna obsessed hain. Arey bhai agar aapky koi, theek hai mei kisi siyasi jamat sy nahi hu mein logon ki zubaany dekh k pareshan hun. Mujy Imran khan saab ki political cheezon sy lakh ikhtalaf hai lekin behrehal wo hamary mulk ka sarmaya hai, hmary kiye world cup ly kar aye wo. Unhon ny ‘Shaukat Khanam’ bnaya, boht saary loug ilaaj karwa rahy hain. Kisi ki achai to jany na. mein maanti hu Imran Khan boht bary leader hain lekin I think wo boht bury politician hai he don’t know politics. Aur isi wjah sy wo ye sab suffer kar rahy hain. Look, even if someone supports a political party, that’s fine, but I am not affiliated with any political party. I am simply disturbed by the way people speak. I may disagree with many of Imran Khan’s political decisions, but regardless of that, he is an asset to our country. He brought us the World Cup. He established Shaukat Khanum, where countless people receive treatment. At least acknowledge someone’s good deeds as well. I admit that Imran Khan is a great leader, but I think he is a very poor politician. He doesn’t understand politics, and that is why he is suffering through all of this. The reason is that many times we fail to recognize people’s true nature. I would probably be a terrible politician too, God forbid if I ever became one, because I also struggle to judge and understand people correctly.)
She added: “Iqrar ki zubaan dekh ky aap kon hoty hain kisi ki character assassination karny waly, apny aap ko to jhankain. Hum sab gunah gaar hain. Hum sab koi doodh mein dhuly howy hain. Aap agar ek ungli ka ishara dosry ki tarf karty hain to ye teen sy chaar unglian aap ki tarf aati hain. Bhai, khud ko to dekh lain na khud ny kia kiya hai aisi bewakooofi ki andzaz mein maafi maang li. Aisy nahi hoti maafi ky aap ek dafa batameezi krain, phir airport py logon sy batameezi kar rahy hain. Yaqeen karain mein wo dekh ky bhi chup ho gai thi ky Bechara hoga kisi pressure mein lein bhai tum , mujy to lagta tummy ilaaj ki zaroorat hai.
