PTI KP bars contact with dissident members, tightens party discipline

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued instructions restricting engagement with disgruntled party members. The decision applies to the party’s Parliamentary and Political Contact Committee.

In an official statement, PTI KP directed the committee not to initiate contact with members who are publicly raising internal party issues through the media. The party said such matters should not be handled through informal or external channels.

The statement also referred to concerns raised by some members regarding meetings between provincial government representatives and opposition leadership. It said certain party members have expressed reservations over these interactions.

PTI KP maintained that any effort to pressure the party leadership or weaken internal discipline will not be entertained through official party contact mechanisms. It emphasized that party unity and discipline remain a priority.

The party added that members with grievances or complaints are already being heard within the internal party structure. It assured that all issues will be addressed through proper and designated forums.

PTI KP further instructed party officials to avoid giving attention or encouragement to members who publicize internal disagreements. It said such behavior disrupts party discipline and organizational stability.

The statement concluded that internal matters must remain within party forums. It warned against bringing internal disputes into the public or media space, stating that discipline will be strictly maintained.
