Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi while paying rich tribute to the leadership of Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has said that this time the Army Chief has saved the world, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
While reacting to Pakistan’s announcement regarding US-Iran peace deal, Interior Minister in a post on X platform early Monday, said “He (Field Marshal) did it again.”
Sharing Field Marshal Asim Munir’s picture on X, Mohsin Naqvi further said “Not just for his country this time, but for the world.”
As part of Pakistan’s peace efforts, Mohsin Naqvi had himself made four important back-to-back visits to Iran during the US-Iran tension, twice he accompanied the Field Marshal to Tehran.
Mohsin Naqvi had played an active role in the diplomatic efforts aimed at realizing a US-Iran peace agreement.
Interior Minister also went to Tehran with Field Marshal Asim Munir, who had made two important visits to Tehran during the US-Iran war.
Asim Munir had several meetings with the Iranian leadership, trying to make progress in the peace talks. His two visits to Iran were the highlight of Pakistan’s diplomatic mission.
