President Asif Ali Zardari is set to undertake an official visit to Kyrgyzstan from July 6 to July 9, it was reported on Friday.
According to sources, President Zardari will arrive in Cholpon-Ata next week at the invitation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.
Cholpon-Ata, located on the northern shore of Issyk-Kul, is one of Kyrgyzstan’s most renowned resort cities.
The president will stay in Cholpon-Ata before travelling to the Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek, on July 8.
During his stay in Bishkek, President Zardari is scheduled to hold separate meetings with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev.
The talks are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
President Zardari will also visit the national martyrs’ memorial in Bishkek, where he will lay a floral wreath and pay tribute to the country’s fallen heroes.
