LAHORE: One of two foreign women, who was allegedly raped in Lahore, revealed shocking details about the incident and the treatment she endured, saying that she was repeatedly sexually and physically assaulted after being held captive by armed men.
The case came to light after police registered a First Information Report (FIR) at Defence C Police Station against five suspects, including Muhammad Raza Dar, on allegations of kidnapping, extortion, and sexual assault involving two foreign women. The accused are currently in police custody on physical remand as investigations continue.
In her statement, recorded under oath, the 40-year-old complainant said she and another foreign woman were held by armed men after arriving at a residence. She alleged that the attackers tied them up, confined them to a room, and later separated the two women.
The complainant further alleged that one of the assailants physically assaulted her, repeatedly struck her in the face, and subjected her to unwanted sexual contact. She said the suspect continued to assault her despite her resistance.
According to the statement, Raza Dar later entered the room and questioned the women about a computer and money. The complainant said she informed him that both items were inside a green bag. She alleged that the suspects repeatedly demanded access to the computer and asked for its password.
The woman also claimed she was struck on the head with the butt of a pistol after questioning the men. She alleged that she was later taken to an upstairs bedroom, where an English-speaking individual warned that the women would be spared if they surrendered the money but would be killed if they refused.
The complainant further alleged that several men entered the room after the individual left and continued pressuring her while speaking in Urdu. She said she repeatedly rejected their demands.
According to her testimony, she was subsequently taken to another room, where she alleged that one of the suspects physically assaulted and raped her multiple times. She stated that the alleged assault ended after she screamed.
Police said the case was registered following an emergency rescue operation. According to the FIR, the two foreign nationals had travelled to Pakistan after being invited by Raza Dar, who had reportedly entered into a business partnership with them in Singapore in October 2025. Investigators said Dar arranged their visas before they arrived in Lahore on June 29, 2026.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing, while the allegations remain subject to judicial proceedings.
