Punjab lifted the Prime Minister’s National Under-21 Women’s Hockey Championship title with a dominant 5-0 victory over Sindh B in the final, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.
Punjab controlled the match from the outset, displaying attacking flair and defensive discipline to outclass their opponents and comfortably secure the championship trophy.
Prime Minister’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest.
Among those present were MNA Mehreen Razzaq Bhutto, Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Director General Yawar Hussain, and Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Mohyuddin Wani, along with other officials and dignitaries.
The championship was held to promote women’s hockey and provide emerging players with valuable competitive experience.
Punjab remained unbeaten throughout the tournament.
