Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) on Tuesday held a joint meeting of its Central Executive Committee and provincial leaders under the chairmanship of party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, where key organisational decisions were taken after detailed deliberations.
According to JUI-F spokesperson Aslam Ghauri, the party’s two-day constitutional session of the Central General Council will be held on September 19 and 20, 2026.
The meeting also decided to organise workers’ conventions across all four provinces, where Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other central and provincial leaders will address party workers.
The party further announced that JUI-F Punjab will hold a series of large public gatherings during September, October and November 2026. Maulana Fazlur Rehman, along with senior central and provincial leaders, will address these events.
The Central Executive Committee also expressed full support for Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s speech and narrative delivered at the Tahaffuz-e-Madaris-e-Diniya wa Awami Huquq Conference held in Kasur.
The meeting also reviewed preparations for the Aman-e-Alam Conference scheduled to be held in Sukkur in March 2027 and expressed satisfaction with the ongoing preparations.
