Sri Lanka Women beat Pakistan Women by eight wickets in the second ODI of the three-match series in Hambantota today. Batting first, Pakistan scored 273 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
In reply, Sri Lanka reached the winning target in 46.5 overs for the loss of two wickets. Vishmi Gunaratne scored an unbeaten 123 runs and was named player of the match while Harshitha Samarawickrama: Contributed a crucial 100 runs.
Earlier, Pakistan female batter Sidra Amin hit an unbeaten classic hundred as her team amassed 273 runs for the loss of five wickets in the second One-Day International against Sri Lanka being played in Hambantota on Saturday.
Sidra was able supported by Ayesha Zafar (49) and Muneeba Ali (45).
Pakistan is already leading the three-match series by winning the first ODI by five wickets at the same venue on last Thursday.
