The CDA Workers Union staged a protest outside the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Headquarters in Islamabad on Tuesday against the proposed privatization of sanitation and other directorates within the organization.
A large number of employees, including sanitation workers and staff from various departments, participated in the demonstration. The protest was led by union leader Chaudhry Yadeen.
The protesters expressed strong opposition to the government’s proposed move to privatize different CDA departments, saying that the decision could negatively affect employees’ livelihoods and job security.
During the protest, workers raised slogans demanding an end to what they described as the “economic killing” of employees and called for the protection of their rights.
The demonstration is being closely monitored as the employees continue their protest against the proposed privatization plan.
