The captains of four teams that are participating in the National Champion Cup Trophy tournament unveiled the Trophy in Multan today, it was reported on Monday.
Prominent national cricket players Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub and Fahim Ashraf addressed the press conference.
They said that this tournament was very important for them and that this tournament will help to form a squad for the World Cup tournament.
Shaheen Shah Afridi said that they have to examine the performance of every player individually.
Cricketer Faheem Ashraf said that despite the moisture and hot weather, they have to prepare themselves to play in every condition.
Sahibzada Farhan said that they should perform well so they can be selected for the national squad.
Shaheen Shah Afridi said that they have to play purely as per their strength. He said that for now he is the captain of the national cricket team till the World Cup.
