The singer took to Instagram and shared a reel capturing moments from his ongoing London tour, using Hania’s recently released Punjabi hip-hop track ‘Pablo’ as the background music. He cheekily captioned the post, “Agaaye jee,” accompanied by a mischievous emoji.
While Asim’s choice of soundtrack may have been a simple nod to a fellow artist, his history with Hania quickly turned the reel into a talking point among social media users.
Adding to the fun, actresses Sonya Hussyn and Saheefa Jabbar Khattak dropped humorous reactions in the comments section, giving the post an even more entertaining twist.
The interaction comes as Asim and Hania continue to remain under the social media spotlight years after their highly publicized relationship came to an end. The former couple dated between 2018 and 2020, and their occasional public interactions and musical references have continued to fuel online curiosity.
Their names have also repeatedly resurfaced together in recent months. Hania recently expanded her creative repertoire by making her official music debut with ‘Pablo’, a Punjabi hip-hop track that she wrote and composed herself.
Released in September, the song sees Hania addressing criticism surrounding her public image, personality and lifestyle while embracing a bold and unapologetic tone. The track also features a surprise appearance from Indian television personality Rakhi Sawant towards the end.
