The government has decided to call the session of the Upper House of the Parliament, the Senate, keeping in view the prevailing political situation in the country, it was reported on Tuesday.
According to sources, the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has prepared a summary in this regard, suggesting to call the Senate session on October 2.
The ministry will issue a notification in this regard after getting President’s approval, the sources said.
