A delegation of the Tehreek Tahafuz Aain Pakistan (TTAP) visited the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Central Secretariat in Islamabad and formally invited the party to attend the upcoming All Parties Conference.
The delegation included PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan, Senator Allama Nasir Abbas, Senator Zeeshan Akhunzada and TTAP spokesperson Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai.
PPP Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari welcomed the delegation and said the invitation would be conveyed to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Bukhari said the delegation would be informed about Bilawal Bhutto’s position on participation in the All Parties Conference.
The meeting also covered the prevailing political situation, supremacy of the Constitution, strengthening of democratic institutions and political engagement among parties.
Bukhari said the PPP considers dialogue and consultation with political parties important on constitutional and democratic matters.
