The United States imposed fresh sanctions on Iranian and Russian companies for supplying arms and weapons to Iran, it was reported on Wednesday.
The United States Department of the Treasury imposed sanctions on one Iranian company and two Russian companies.
The Russian companies include Saha Airlines, Russian shipping company MG-Flot LLC, and Russian aircraft company Yakoliv, which supplied Iran with Kiyak-130 war training aircraft and other goods.
The MG Flot companies were also involved in transporting ballistic missiles from Russia to Iran. Saha Airlines was also involved in the shipment of arms and weapons to Iran.
These sanctions are part of US Operation Economic Outcast.
