Wicketkeeper-batsman Tom Latham will lead New Zealand in the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh, the country’s cricket board announced on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old Latham is named skipper after regular captain Kane Williamson was ruled out from the series with an elbow injury.
Meanwhile, Black Caps have also named three potential debutants in Devon Conway, Will Young and Daryl Mitchell for the series
Note, New Zealand will be playing their first ODI since a defeat to Australia in Sydney in March 13, 2020.
