Netanyahu’s visit to border town Metula cancelled after drone attack
Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to border town of Metula was cancelled after a drone attack in the town, Times of Israel reported.
About 20 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive a drone from Lebanon exploded in an army base in the town, and the prime minister’s convoy aborted the visit.
His office later released a statement insisting that Netanyahu had still been keen to visit Metula, but that security officials cancelled the trip.
Hezbollah launches missile attack on Israel’s Haifa base
Hezbollah has announced that it fired a series of missiles at an Israeli military installation located in Haifa, a northern coastal city, Al Jazeera reported.
