PTI directs lawmakers to assemble at Adiala Jail in solidarity with Imran Khan, Aleema Khan

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has instructed all its Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) to gather at Adiala Jail tomorrow in a show of solidarity with party founder Imran Khan and his sister Aleema Khan, it was reported on Monday.

According to party sources, the MNAs have been asked to immediately return to Islamabad from their constituencies by tonight. Chief Whip Aamir Dogar has been directed to ensure the attendance of all lawmakers at the protest site.

The sources further said that MNAs will be informed tomorrow morning about the exact time they are required to reach Adiala Jail, and the schedule must be followed without exception. The party leadership has stressed that this demonstration of unity is aimed at sending a strong message of support for Imran Khan and Aleema Khan, following recent incidents outside the prison.

The call for MNAs to assemble at Adiala is part of PTI’s broader protest strategy and is expected to draw significant attention to the party’s campaign against what it terms political victimisation of its leadership.
