Oil and Gas Development Corporation (OGDC) on Friday informed Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) about the start of oil and gas production from Soghri North-I well in Attock, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to OGDCL, drilling at the Soghri North-1 well commenced on May 21, 2024, and has now resulted in daily production of 14 million standard cubic feet (MMscfd) of gas along with 430 barrels of crude oil.
Oil and Gas Development Corporation laid 14 kilometers of pipeline and connected the Dukhni Plant.
The gas production from Soghri North-I well was included in the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) network. ODGC obtained a hundred percent interest in the Soghri Exploration License. The local production of gas will save a reasonable amount of foreign exchange.
