Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Barrister Gohar, has stated that if there are any reservations or grievances held by Mahmood Khan Achakzai, the party is willing to address and resolve them.
Speaking to the media in Rawalpindi, Barrister Gohar said that discussions with Achakzai regarding his absence from the recent Mardan rally have not yet taken place. However, he emphasized that efforts will be made to engage with him and remove any misunderstandings.
He further revealed that the founding leadership of PTI has instructed party members to respect and follow whatever decision Achakzai makes in this regard. This indicates the importance the party attaches to maintaining unity and coordination with its political allies.
During the interaction, Barrister Gohar also spoke about ongoing efforts for the release of PTI’s founding leader and Bushra Bibi. He mentioned that Bushra Bibi is currently unwell and that the party is accelerating efforts to secure her release at the earliest.
He added that he recently met with Sohail Afridi, although he declined to share further details of the meeting. On the issue of social media, he clarified that it operates independently and that PTI’s official stance is communicated only through its leadership.
Overall, the statement reflects PTI’s attempt to maintain political cohesion, address internal concerns, and strengthen relationships with key figures, while continuing its efforts on legal and political fronts.
