Pakistani TikTok sensation and digital influencer Jannat Mirza has once again become the centre of social media attention after a video claiming to show her engagement began circulating widely online.
The viral clip, shared across fan pages and entertainment accounts, shows a man placing a ring on Jannat Mirza’s finger during what appears to be an engagement ceremony. In the video, the man is dressed in a white traditional outfit, while Jannat can be seen wearing a dull golden saree-style dress paired with emerald and kundan jewellery.
As the video spread rapidly across social media platforms, users began debating whether the engagement was real or simply part of a photoshoot, promotional project or edited content.
Jannat Mirza, one of Pakistan’s biggest social media personalities, enjoys enormous popularity online with millions of followers across TikTok and Instagram. She became famous through lip-sync videos, fashion content and lifestyle posts, eventually turning into one of the country’s most recognised internet celebrities.
She has also worked in Pakistan’s entertainment industry and appeared in the Punjabi film Tere Bajrey Di Rakhi.
The latest viral video triggered mixed reactions from social media users. While some fans congratulated her and admired the elegant look, many others questioned the authenticity of the video.
Several users pointed out that similar rumours about Jannat Mirza’s engagement have surfaced in the past, leading to confusion among followers. Some comments mocked the repeated speculation, while others suggested the video may have been generated using artificial intelligence or filmed for content creation purposes.
The online discussion intensified after Jannat herself appeared to indirectly react to the rumours. She shared a sarcastic social media post stating: “Me hearing some news about me that I didn’t even know.”
Her post further fuelled speculation, with many fans interpreting it as a denial of the engagement rumours.
The identity of the man appearing in the video has also not been officially confirmed, and neither Jannat Mirza nor her family has issued a formal statement regarding the circulating clip.
Jannat comes from a well-known family background. Her father, Mirza Anjum Kamal, serves as a senior police officer, while her sisters Alishba Anjum and Sehar Mirza are also popular digital creators.
