Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has decided to upgrade and digitalize Lahore Parking Company, it was reported on Saturday.
The Chief Minister directed the company to digitalize as per the latest standards on a phased basis.
The Punjab government directed that the pilot project of Gulberg Zone-I be completed within one week according to the latest standards.
The Chief Minister declared Gulberg Zone-I as a modern zone. As many as 35 parking sites will be digitalized in Zone I.
Live monitoring of all parking stands will be ensured, and CCTV cameras will be installed in the parking areas.
An auto ticket will be issued at the parking sites. The manual ticket will be eliminated.
All the staff will be provided with the best training in this regard. Training workshops are being held for the staff of Lahore Parking Zone.
