The Punjab government has relaxed business operating hours across the province until June 1, according to an official notification issued from Lahore.
Under this decision, markets, shopping malls, hotels, and restaurants throughout Punjab can now remain open beyond the previous 8 PM restriction. The government has effectively lifted the evening closing limit for all major commercial areas during this period.
Officials stated that the move aims to support commercial activity and provide relief to traders and the hospitality sector. The updated schedule applies uniformly across the province, allowing businesses more flexibility in managing customer flow and operations.
The relaxation will remain in effect until June 1, after which authorities are expected to review the situation and decide whether to extend or modify the timings.
