Iran targets Kuwaiti airbase; several US personnel injured

Iran has reportedly carried out a missile attack on a Kuwaiti airbase. Several American personnel were injured in the incident, according to Bloomberg.

The report says the strike took place within the last 24 hours. The targeted location was a key military facility used by US forces in the region.

During the attack, two MQ-9 Reaper combat drones were severely damaged. These drones are used for surveillance and precision strikes, making the incident strategically significant.

Bloomberg further reports that Kuwaiti air defenses responded to the incoming missile threat. A Fateh-10 missile was intercepted and destroyed in the air before it could hit its intended target.

However, despite the interception, debris from the destroyed missile reportedly fell onto Al-Salem Air Base. This caused damage and resulted in injuries among US personnel stationed there.

Authorities have not yet released full details about the extent of the injuries or the overall damage. The situation remains under review as security assessments continue in the region.
