The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has granted permission to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif to visit Gilgit-Baltistan and issued a no-objection certificate (NoC) to him in this regard.
The no-objection certificate allowed Nawaz Sharif to participate in Gilgit-Baltistan election campaign, but he is bound not to violate the Election Act 2017 rules and regulations.
The ECP permission granted on Monday is bound by the rules and regulations of the general elections of 2026.
