The government on Saturday decided to take strict action against persons who were affiliated with banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), its cashiers and facilitators.
Sources said that the government is compiling all details of properties which is owned by the members of Action Committee.
Sources further revealed that CNIC, passports and bank accounts of all those persons who are affiliated with banned Joint Awami Action Committee will be attached.
The government also expanded the scope of investigation in a bid to take action against the facilitators, and those persons who are providing funds.
FIR registered against member of JAAC
Police registered a first information report against a citizen namely Imran Shaikh due to his anti-state activities.
As per the FIR, the accused issued anti-state statements during a gathering in United Kingdom. The FIR was registered vide 489Y/A Section 506, 504, 505 and 123.
According to the FIR, the accused used inappropriate and insulting language against the heads of national institutions
The police have registered a case based on authentic evidence and initiated formal legal proceedings.
