The Chief Election Commissioner has issued decisions on several objections related to constituencies of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly.
Multiple petitions were reviewed and rejected after detailed consideration.
In constituency GBA-3 Gilgit-III, the objection was dismissed. As a result, the victory of independent candidate Soheil Abbas has been upheld.
In another decision, the objection filed in GBA-10 Skardu-IV was also rejected. This outcome confirms the victory of Pakistan Peoples Party candidate Raja Nasir Ali.
The Election Commission further rejected an objection related to GBA-13 Astore-I. However, officials clarified that the final result for this constituency will be announced on June 17.
The Commission stated that all objections were examined according to legal and electoral procedures before reaching a decision.
